What Inspires You?

Finding inspiration can be difficult sometimes. I think it’s really important that you find out what makes you tick. Ask yourself a few questions. Nana Whacky taught me that by asking better questions I get better answers – the same goes for you!  Ask things like:

  • What really makes me happy?
  • What makes me feel like going out to do something?
  • What would I like to change about the world?
  • What have I heard that made me smile or think twice?
  • What have I seen that made me pause?
  • What gives me goosebumps in a good way?

I hope you take a minute to ask these questions of yourself. If you need help with inspiration then you can always visit this site (with your caregiver’s approval). This lady has got it going on!

Share Your Big Dream

You know what? Sometimes I forget to tell other people about my dream. Have you ever done that, you know, forgotten to tell people what you are aiming for.

I noticed that when I talk about my dream people want to help me. The more excitement I show the more I can see other people trying to figure out how to help me. I can tell, they honestly want to help me get a great result and there is a possibility that they have the missing link I need.

So don’t do what I did. Don’t make the mistake of keeping your dream to yourself. Tell your parents, your sister or brother, aunts and uncles, friends, really you can tell your dreams to anyone you trust to support you.

Good luck with your big dream!

Begin With A Dream

Nana Whacky tells me it is important to have dreams. “Without a dream you have no reason to get out of bed in the morning” is what she says. She tells me that there are no limits to my goals and if I dream BIG then I get BIG results. She said if I “reach for the moon I’ll at least hit the stars.”

So I’m spending time this week deciding what I want to have, do or be in my life.

Warren Whitlock Says Listen and Love

Warren Whitlock is one smart guy. He says “Listen & Love”.  That is a simple idea that everyone can understand. Even though I’m just a kid I understand that when I really pay attention to someone it shows I care. People want to be cared for and they want to be heard. So Mr. Whitlock, I want you to know I heard you, and I care. I even cared enough to share your message with the world today!

Let Your Little Light Shine

I wish every kid would let their little light shine! This Bruce Springsteen video is so much fun.

Out Of The Way and Into The Possibility

I was whining to Nana Whacky about wanting a new iPod. I told her my allowance money wasn’t adding up very quickly at all. She said to me “Get out of your own way and into your possibilities.” She then giggled and called me a little ninny, whatever that is. I didn’t know what she meant about getting out of my own way, I could still move and stretch and jump. I wasn’t in my way or anyone else’s!

Nana Whacky explained to me that many times my little monkey (tee-hee, she calls my inner voice my little monkey) is what stops us from taking steps toward possible exciting outcomes. She said that maybe the little monkey chattering in my brain was saying there was nothing I could do about how much money I have right now. She said the little monkey doesn’t know any better. Nana said that the little monkey practices wrong thinking and that there is always a way to achieve your dreams I just need to think differently and push the mind chatter out of the way.

I’m thinking about starting up a lemonade stand this summer with Banjo’s help. I can split the work and money with him. Maybe I could rake leaves this fall when the leaves come down, too. I am going to go write down ten things I can do to make some extra money. Now THAT is my getting out of my way and into my possibility!

I don't wait to go to sleep before I dream and set goals

I dream with my eyes wide open.  It’s no secret. It’s true!  I don’t wait to go to sleep before I dream and set goals. I be sure to dream every day and use the law of attraction.  One of my biggest dreams is to be a potter.  One day I want to have made hundreds of pieces of pottery with bright colors and fun designs.

When I first felt the urge to be a potter I didn’t know how I could ever do it.  I really didn’t know anything about how it was done.  But with a little bit of help, a lot of prayer and faith along with some action I actually made my first vase!  Oh, there was more to it than just wishing and hoping.  My Nana Whacky taught Brother Banjo and I the Law of Attraction. I didn’t just go around waiting for a potter’s wheel to show up in Papa’s workshop. Oh no!  I prayed, and trusted Faith and read about pottery and looked at books and, and….

If you really want to know more about my story and how I made my biggest dream come true then you may want to read about it online.  OR, you can order a colorful storybook.

I can’t wait to share more about making YOUR dreams come true.

Wish me luck!
