Friends Are Important

April 27, 2012

Dear Diary~

Sometimes I feel very alone. But not today! My friend Em visited me. She made me feel special and smart and like I matter. I felt really happy that she noticed me and I was glad that she spent time with me. I hope I made her feel as special as she made me feel. I love her as much as I love skapetti spaketti spaghetti!! It makes me hope that every person has a friend like Em and that every person will tell their friend they are glad to know them.

Nana says that the world is my mirror. It means that what is inside of me is reflected outside of me. If the kind, gentle, fun person that Em is is also who I am then I am very happy about that. It makes me want to be the best me EVER!

Thank you, God, for the chance to spend time with Em. She is someone I am thankful to know, she is a gift! I wish this for everyone.

What Inspires You?

October 25, 2011

Finding inspiration can be difficult sometimes. I think it’s really important that you find out what makes you tick. Ask yourself a few questions. Nana Whacky taught me that by asking better questions I get better answers – the same goes for you!  Ask things like:

  • What really makes me happy?
  • What makes me feel like going out to do something?
  • What would I like to change about the world?
  • What have I heard that made me smile or think twice?
  • What have I seen that made me pause?
  • What gives me goosebumps in a good way?

I hope you take a minute to ask these questions of yourself. If you need help with inspiration then you can always visit this site (with your caregiver’s approval). This lady has got it going on!

What To Do With The Dream

July 23, 2010

Your little one has just announced their wildest dream ever, now what?!

No matter how outrageous, silly or simply impossible your child’s dream may be – don’t squash it.  Whatever you do, don’t frown, scowl or shake your head at the ideas of your small one.  They don’t yet understand potential obstacles.  And really why should they?  Their wide eyes and sugar pie faces are full of innocence and belief in the extraordinary.   Nurture that part of them. Choose to engage them in imagining the best possible outcomes for whatever it was they wished for.  No mocking or shame can be present in your words or actions because they will feel it and respond to it.  “Impossible” doesn’t even register with them, allow them to grow up without knowing the meaning of the word.
Have the faith that your child holds.  Maintain trust in the unseen forces that surround you and know that “thy will be done”.  You don’t need to know how nor does your child , you both only need to believe and hold that thought in a positive light for the sake of all future dreams. The universal Law of Attraction will weave its way into the fabric of your lives.

Encourage the Dreamer

July 22, 2010

Who is the young dreamer in your life that needs a lift?

Recognize the need for children of all ages to feel their dreams are heard.  Support the wishes, the bigger than life dreams, and the far out imaginings of everyone.

As simple human beings we cannot know what amazing things are available to us until we ask for big results.  When the someone in your life expresses a desire to be the best balloon animal maker in the city of Tokyo, believe him or her, and encourage the many small steps it would take to achieve that goal. Is someone near you wishing to be the biggest fund raiser for the local hospital?  Reinforce the idea by believing in their potential to do so.  Recognize that dreaming is the first step in “having” it all.  Taking the action steps, recognizing universal energies and stepping into the dream will come, but for now ENCOURAGE THE DREAMER TO DREAM.

Amazing results are sure to happen as energy around the end goal grows through lovingly preserved dreaming.

“Molly Kite Has Faith” is a fully illustrated children’s book about a big dream and a positive end result.  Buy better media for your children. Molly Kite is available at Booklocker.com and is also available as an audio or ebook.

Grandparents are full of wisdom.  They know that their thoughts become things.  They have years of examples of listening to their hearts instead of the voices in their heads. Conscious grandparenting, or, grandparenting on purpose is easier with better media such as Molly Kite & Company stories.  Bringing Faith into each day, even in the form of a sweet rag doll, can open the eyes of a child and make them think in a new direction.

Molly Kite and her cast of family members and friends want to help children everywhere by empowering them to follow their heart and live a life of love and joy.  There is power in knowing you can create a life you love and the key ingredient is love.
